Double Vision: the CURSOR Party

August 19, 2005

For 22 years, the UP Association of Computer Science Majors (UP CURSOR) has served as an organization in the University that is solely dedicated to the development and growth of the Department of Computer Science and its students. Each year, UP CURSOR holds CURSOR Week in order to celebrate the organization’s founding, and this year, we will cap off the week with a bang with a party entitled Double Vision: UP CURSOR @ 22.

UP CURSOR as an organization has always taken great pride in both its scholastic and extra-curricular achievements. CURSOR members both hold and participate in academic, programming, artistic, and sporting competitions, and even hold several socially relevant activities.

For this reason, we will hold Double Vision: the CURSOR Party as the culminating event of CURSOR Week, in order to represent UP CURSOR’s dual vision of both academic excellence and social service. The event will serve as a venue for members and non-members to unwind and make sure that CURSOR’s 22nd year celebration ends with a bang. It will be held on the night of September 2, 2005, Friday. The night features Stonefree, Radioactive Sago Project, Giniling Festival, UP Dharma Down, and our very own CURSOR Bands; it is open not only to the organization’s hundred-strong list of members, but as well as its many alumni and anyone who wishes to share in the revelry.

As such, we invite you to share in our celebration and join us in touching as many lives as possible.
